Road Detour - Quincy Avenue

Pipeline construction activities north of Quincy Avenue have reached the roadway near Powhaton Road. Crews are installing pipe across Quincy Avenue during January.

Both eastbound and westbound travel lanes will remain open during this construction activity; however traffic will be diverted onto a temporary road to allow traffic to pass through safely. Traffic lanes will be diverted south of Quincy Road while crews are working within the north half of the road. Traffic lanes will be diverted north of Quincy Road once crews proceed onto the south half of the road. Motorists should drive with caution and avoid slow moving construction traffic in the area. Please obey all posted signs and marked areas to avoid work zone dangers.

Detour signs will be put up at least 24 hours prior to the road diversion and will remain throughout the activity.
